Author Biography
Ronny Arnesen was born in Oslo in 1959. He has previously published three books. One is a textbook on rescue diving, and the other two focus on diving and exploring shipwrecks, caves, mines, and German underground installations from the war.
Arnesen began diving at the age of 13 in 1973. He has been involved in cave diving since 1983 and technical diving since 1990. This stems from a strong interest in diving and history. Through his work as a firefighter and his hobby, he has, on several occasions, seen the "other side of the coin." Over more than 50 years as an active diver, he has experienced dramatic situations and the deaths of his friends.
